First seen Feb 06, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 12 times

Summary

This study looked at 122 adults who received a kidney from a living donor. Researchers wanted to see if the amount of fluids given in the first 4 hours after surgery affected how well the new kidney worked. They measured kidney function by checking creatinine levels and whether dialysis was needed in the first year.
