First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 24, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at whether getting people up and moving early after a stroke, guided by a special ultrasound that checks blood flow in the brain, leads to better recovery than standard care. About 1,300 adults who have had an ischemic stroke will take part. The goal is to see if this approach improves independence and reduces disability three months later.
