First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 25 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of four drugs (elotuzumab, carfilzomib, lenalidomide, and dexamethasone) in 46 people newly diagnosed with multiple myeloma, a blood cancer. The goal was to see how many patients achieved a very deep response, meaning no cancer cells could be found using sensitive tests. While the treatment aims to control the disease deeply, patients typically need ongoing therapy, so this is not a cure.
