New hope for lung cancer: first human trial of targeted drug DZD6008 begins

Summary

This study tests a new drug called DZD6008 in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has a specific EGFR mutation. It is the first time this drug is being given to humans, so the main goals are to check its safety and find the right dose. About 190 adults will take part to see if the drug can shrink tumors.
