First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tested a combination of two immunotherapy drugs (durvalumab and tremelimumab) in 14 adults with recurrent solid tumors that have a high number of genetic mutations. The goal was to see if this treatment could slow cancer growth longer than the patients' previous therapy. The approach aims to boost the immune system to fight the cancer, but does not offer a cure and ongoing management is expected.
