Radiation boost may extend life in tough lung cancer

Summary

This study is for people newly diagnosed with extensive-stage small cell lung cancer that has spread. Researchers want to see if adding focused radiation to the standard treatment of durvalumab and chemotherapy can help people live longer without their cancer getting worse. About 49 participants will receive the combination and be followed for up to 48 months.
