New injection tested to tame severe childhood eczema
NCT ID NCT04678882
Summary
This study tested whether adding a medication called dupilumab (given as an injection) to standard steroid creams could better control eczema in Japanese children and teenagers. It involved 62 participants, aged 6 months to under 18 years, whose eczema was not well-managed by their current treatments. The main goal was to see if the combination treatment safely reduced the severity and itch of eczema over 16 weeks.
