Asthma drug put to test: can it clear stubborn lung mucus?
NCT ID NCT04743791
Summary
This study is investigating whether the medication dupilumab can improve how well the lungs clear mucus in people with moderate-to-severe asthma. Over 12 weeks, 30 participants will receive either dupilumab or a placebo (inactive substance) to compare the effects. Researchers will use special imaging scans and other tests to measure changes in mucus clearance, lung function, and asthma control.
