First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 38 times

Summary

This study looked at how adding a second task (like mental or physical activity) changes walking patterns in people with long-term neck pain compared to healthy adults. 42 participants (21 with neck pain, 21 without) wore a small sensor to measure their gait. The goal was to understand how neck pain affects movement control, not to test a treatment.
