Summary
This study tested whether giving small rewards for attending treatment and providing negative alcohol tests helps people with alcohol use disorder stay sober. 74 adults in outpatient treatment were randomly assigned to standard care or standard care plus rewards. The goal was to see if rewards lead to more sober days and better long-term outcomes.
