First seen May 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looks at 326 adults who had a heart attack and have a rare condition where their heart arteries are abnormally widened (coronary artery ectasia). It compares the standard treatment of two anti-clotting drugs (aspirin and clopidogrel) against one anti-clotting drug plus a blood thinner (rivaroxaban). The goal is to see which approach better prevents future heart problems without causing dangerous bleeding.
