ER heart attack care: is earlier double blood thinner better?

NCT ID NCT07039149

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks back at medical records to see what happens when heart attack patients get two blood thinners in the emergency room instead of waiting for the second one in the catheterization lab. Researchers will track major bleeding and heart-related events in 200 adults over one year. The goal is to find out if earlier use of both medications is safe and effective.
