First seen May 19, 2026 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests a single dose of a combined diphtheria, tetanus, and pertussis (whooping cough) vaccine in healthy pregnant women in Japan. The goal is to see how well the vaccine boosts immunity in mothers and passes protection to their newborns. About 95 women between 27 and 37 weeks of pregnancy will receive the vaccine, and both they and their babies will be monitored for safety and immune response.
