Summary

This trial tests a new drug called DS3790a for people with certain blood cancers, including B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. The drug is designed to find and attack cancer cells while sparing healthy ones. The study will check safety and how well it works in about 420 adults.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only, not medical advice or a prediction.

Active substance
DS3790a (an antibody-drug conjugate targeting CD37, combined with a chemotherapy-like payload)
What this could lead to
If successful, this could provide a new treatment option for people with certain blood cancers that are hard to treat.
What could go wrong
This is an early (phase 1/2) trial, so the drug may not work or could cause serious side effects. It is not a cure and long-term benefits are unknown.
