First seen May 25, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026
Summary
This study tested two treatments—dry needling (fine needles into tight muscle spots) and phonophoresis (ultrasound with anti-inflammatory gel)—in 40 adults with chronic neck pain and forward head posture. Both aim to reduce pain and improve neck movement. The results will help doctors choose the best option for relieving muscle knots and stiffness.
