New spray could bring relief to seniors with chronic dry mouth
NCT ID NCT06984848
First seen May 24, 2026 · Last updated May 24, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether an enzyme-containing mouth spray (Oral7) can relieve dry mouth symptoms in people aged 60 and older. One hundred participants will use either the active spray or a placebo for four weeks. Researchers will measure changes in dry mouth severity, saliva production, and oral health-related quality of life. The goal is to find a simple, non-drug way to improve comfort and daily function.
