Summary
This study aims to understand how much prescription medication passes from breastfeeding mothers to their infants through breast milk. Researchers are recruiting 1,600 breastfeeding women who are taking certain medications and their babies to measure drug levels in milk and blood. The goal is to gather better safety information about medication use during breastfeeding to help doctors and mothers make informed decisions.
