Scientists test if new drug changes how your body handles heartburn medicine
NCT ID NCT07149415
Summary
This study aimed to understand if a drug approved for Friedrich's Ataxia (omaveloxolone) changes how the body processes a common heartburn medicine called omeprazole. Researchers enrolled 22 healthy volunteers who took both drugs over a 17-day stay in a research center. The main goal was to measure drug levels in the blood to see if one medicine made the other stronger, weaker, or caused side effects.
