New drug targets Fuel-Hungry lung cancer cells in phase 2 trial

Summary
This study tests a drug called DRP-104 in people with advanced non-small cell lung cancer that has specific gene changes (NFE2L2 or KEAP1). The drug works by blocking glutamine, a nutrient cancer cells need to grow. The trial aims to see if the drug can shrink tumors or slow the disease after standard treatments have stopped working. About 37 adults will take part.
