First seen Mar 26, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at whether weight-loss surgery changes how the birth control pill drospirenone is absorbed in the body. Researchers will measure the drug levels in the blood of 16 obese Thai women before and after bariatric surgery. The goal is to understand if the surgery affects how well the pill works for contraception.
