First seen Mar 21, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study looks at how Drospirenone-only birth control pills change cervical mucus in 16 obese Thai women, both before and after bariatric surgery. Researchers will use a microscope-based scoring system to see if the mucus becomes less fertile. The goal is to understand if weight-loss surgery affects how well this pill prevents pregnancy.
