Summary
This study tested a tablet called dihydroergotine mesylate extended-release to see if it can reduce drooling in people with Parkinson's disease. 120 patients took either the study drug or a placebo for 12 weeks, along with their usual treatments. The goal was to measure changes in saliva weight and check for any effects on thinking skills.
