Summary
This study tested whether playing active virtual reality games (exergames) is as good as or better than traditional aerobic exercise for improving physical fitness, daily function, and thinking skills in people with Down syndrome. 44 participants with mild to moderate intellectual disability took part. The goal was to see if a fun, game-like approach could boost health and quality of life.
