New drug dotinurad takes on febuxostat in heart health showdown

Summary
This study compares two medicines, dotinurad and febuxostat, to see which one better improves heart health in people with both high uric acid (hyperuricemia) and high blood pressure. About 360 adults will take one of the drugs for 24 weeks. The main goal is to measure changes in artery stiffness, a key sign of heart health.
