Summary

This study is testing how much behavioral therapy is needed to help children with obesity. 900 children aged 5-17 will be placed into groups that receive different amounts of therapy, from 13 to 26 hours over six months. Researchers will measure their BMI, diet, exercise, and quality of life after one year to find the most effective dose.
