First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study tested whether adding trained therapy dogs to standard social skills training could help children with ADHD. 39 kids took part, and researchers measured changes in attention, hyperactivity, and social behavior. The goal was to see if the dog-assisted approach improves symptoms and self-esteem more than social skills training alone.
