First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study looks at whether interacting with a therapy dog can reduce anxiety and stress in graduate students. Thirty first-year grad students will have their stress levels measured through saliva tests and pain sensitivity checks before and after spending time with a dog. The goal is to see if regular dog visits can help students feel calmer and less stressed.
