Heart drug during surgery: a feasibility test

Summary
This study looked at whether it is possible to give a drug called dobutamine to patients during major abdominal surgery. 100 adults took part, and the main goal was to see if the drug could be given for most of the surgery. The results will help plan future studies on heart support during operations.
