DNA check could cut senior falls

Summary
This study explores whether using a person's DNA to guide medication choices can reduce harmful side effects in older adults who take five or more drugs. About 1,000 participants aged 65 and older who have had a fall will provide a cheek swab for DNA analysis. Half of the doctors will get the DNA results to help them prescribe, while the other half will provide usual care. Researchers will track falls, medication changes, and side effects over six months to see if DNA-guided prescribing improves safety.
