DNA blood test may spare cancer patients from unneeded blood thinners

Summary
This study tests a software tool that uses DNA from a blood sample to predict if a cancer patient's blood clot is likely to return after stopping blood thinners. About 259 adults who have finished 3-12 months of blood thinner therapy will be followed for 6 months. The goal is to see if a low-risk DNA result means it's safe to stop medication without the clot coming back.
