New study tests if body awareness can heal dissociation

Summary
This study tests whether body-focused and non-body-focused interventions can reduce symptoms of dissociation in people who have experienced trauma. Researchers will enroll 350 participants at Emory University and the University of Pittsburgh. They will measure changes in brain networks related to attention and body awareness, as well as symptoms of PTSD and dissociation.
