NCT ID NCT07540299
First seen Apr 28, 2026 · Last updated May 26, 2026 · Updated 9 times
Summary
This study tests whether applying dipotassium oxalate to a tooth before placing a filling can reduce pain and sensitivity afterward. Sixty-four adults with sensitive, non-cavity tooth lesions will be randomly assigned to get either the extra coating or standard care. Their sensitivity to cold and air puffs will be checked right after, at 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. The goal is to find a simple way to make dental fillings more comfortable.
