Summary
This study compared two ways to slow down nearsightedness (myopia) in children aged 6 to 12: special glasses called DIMS and special contact lenses called Ortho-K. 90 children were randomly assigned to one treatment and followed for 18 months. The main goal was to see if the glasses work as well as the contact lenses at controlling eye growth.
