First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tests whether special glasses (DIMS lenses) alone can slow the worsening of nearsightedness in children as well as a common treatment of atropine eye drops plus regular glasses. About 242 children with mild to moderate nearsightedness will be followed for 2 years. The goal is to find a simpler, drug-free option for controlling myopia.
