Study tests if 3D-Printed dentures improve eating over Old-School method

NCT ID NCT07290933

Summary

This study aimed to find out if dentures made with modern 3D scanning and printing technology help people chew and swallow solid food better than dentures made the traditional way. Fourteen people who had lost all their teeth tried both types of dentures for three months each. Researchers measured how well they could eat a cracker to see which denture design worked best.
