Summary
This study tested a fully digital method for gum reshaping (gingivectomy) to fix a gummy smile, comparing it to the conventional technique. Twenty-four adults with excessive gum display due to altered passive eruption took part. The digital approach used 3D scanning and printing to create a surgical guide, aiming for better accuracy and patient satisfaction.
