Digital scans challenge Old-School denture fitting

Summary
This study tested whether using a digital mouth scanner is a good alternative to a complex traditional method for making dentures for people with a specific type of unstable jaw ridge. Twenty-six participants each received two sets of dentures, one made with each method, to see which provided better fit and comfort. The main goal was to see if the digital approach improved quality of life and how well the dentures stayed in place.
