NCT ID NCT05030753
Summary
This study tested whether a digital program called iSIPsmarter could help adults in rural Appalachia cut back on sugary drinks like soda and sweet tea. 249 participants were randomly assigned to use either the interactive iSIPsmarter website or a basic educational website. The goal was to see if the interactive program was more effective at reducing sugary drink intake and improving related health measures like weight and diet quality over 18 months.
