First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated May 22, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether using a digital mindfulness and meditation app (Calm Health) can improve mental health and vision-related quality of life in adults with non-infectious uveitis, an inflammatory eye disease. One hundred participants were randomly assigned to use the app or continue usual care. The main goal was to see if anxiety symptoms, measured by a standard questionnaire, improved after using the app.
