One-Hour school session fights social Media's toxic beauty standards
NCT ID NCT07189559
Summary
This study tested a brief, one-hour school program designed to help teenagers feel better about their bodies by teaching them to critically question unrealistic beauty ideals they see online. Nearly 450 high school students participated, with half receiving the interactive session immediately and the other half receiving it after an 8-week wait. The program aimed to build resilience against appearance pressures from social media and improve overall body satisfaction.
