Summary
This study tested a single-session program called Digital Bodies in Italian high schools. About 449 first- and second-year students either took the program or were placed on a waitlist. The program aimed to help teens challenge unrealistic beauty standards they see on social media. Researchers measured body satisfaction, internalization of appearance ideals, and self-objectification before, right after, and 8 weeks later.
