Could a smartphone test spot MS before symptoms start?

NCT ID NCT07135752

First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at people with radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS) — early brain changes that may lead to multiple sclerosis — and compares them to people who have MS but no physical symptoms. Researchers want to see if digital tools, like smartphone tests, can detect subtle changes in movement or thinking before a person notices anything wrong. The goal is to find better ways to predict and monitor the earliest stages of MS.
