Can a Dietitian's plan speed recovery after a Life-Threatening hospital stay?
NCT ID NCT07149246
Summary
This study is testing whether personalized nutrition care from a dietitian helps people recover better after a serious illness requiring intensive care. For six months, one group of patients will get standard hospital food guidance, while another gets a dietitian who plans their meals in the hospital and checks in with them after they go home. Researchers will compare the two groups to see if the extra nutrition support leads to better energy intake, strength, and overall quality of life.
