First seen Nov 18, 2025 · Last updated May 18, 2026 · Updated 21 times
Summary
This study is for children and young adults (ages 1 to 21) with eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE), a condition where the esophagus becomes inflamed, often due to food allergies. Participants will follow a dairy-free diet and drink a special nutrition formula (partial enteral nutrition) for 3 months. Researchers will check if this diet helps reduce inflammation and improve symptoms, and also study how it affects the immune system and gut bacteria.
