Summary

This study looked at whether making U.S. dietary guidelines more culturally relevant helps African American adults at risk for type 2 diabetes eat healthier and lower their risk. 63 participants tried one of three diet patterns (U.S.-Style, Mediterranean, or Vegetarian) for 12 weeks. The goal was to improve diet quality, weight, and blood sugar levels.
