Plant-Based diet trial hopes to slow Early-Stage leukemia

NCT ID NCT07487428

First seen Mar 30, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 5 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a short-term whole-food, plant-based diet can change how the immune system works and affect disease activity in people with early-stage chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) who have not yet had treatment. About 50 participants will follow the diet for 4 weeks and give blood and stool samples. The goal is to see if the diet can slow disease progression or improve immune function.
