NCT ID NCT07183007

First seen Oct 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 39 times

Summary

This study tests whether a diet tailored to a person's genetic makeup can help control lupus and improve quality of life. Researchers will screen 100 adults with lupus for specific genes (HLA DQ2 and DQ8) and then assign those who have them to either a personalized diet plan or no special diet. The goal is to see if the genetic-based diet reduces disease activity and boosts well-being.
