Summary
This study looks at 600 adults who take blood thinners and have a mild head injury but a normal first brain scan. The goal is to find out how often a delayed brain bleed or other problems like blood clots or confusion happen within 24 hours to 4 weeks after the injury. Researchers hope to learn whether the common practice of keeping these patients in the hospital for 24 hours is truly necessary.
