First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 19, 2026 · Updated 7 times
Summary
This study tested whether closing small gaps between the upper front teeth using tooth-colored fillings could improve how people feel about their oral health and reduce their fear of the dentist. Forty adults with gaps smaller than 2 mm received the treatment in one visit. Three months later, they reported better oral health-related quality of life and less dental anxiety compared to before treatment.
