First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study looks at how a newer way of numbing the arm (extra-fascial nerve block) affects the diaphragm, the main breathing muscle, in children aged 6 to 12. It compares this method to the standard approach to see which one is safer and still provides good pain relief. The goal is to find a better balance between pain control and breathing safety for kids having upper limb surgery.
